Combining spectacular mountain scenery with marvelous cultural diversity makes this region one of the most popular trekking areas in Nepal, Trekkers will experience the exquisite combination of some of the world’s highest mountains, crystal-clear lakes, hot springs and turbulent rivers with Buddhist monasteries and beautiful villages. The region is also home to the famous Gorkha soldiers and other interesting ethnic groups.
The Annapurna region lies in central Nepal, with the pleasant, lake-side city of Pokhara serving as the starting point for several of the most popular treks.
